Can't settle on a rom... Like one rom, but wish it had features of another... Well look no further...
PACman is a unique rom.
We have picked the best features from CM10, Aokp and PA and combined them in a single rom so you get the experience you deserve
To enjoy the features of every available project without the hassle of flashing regularly.
The Rom is rock stable for an average user but keep in mind the Rom is in WIP stage so expect some minor hickups but we are trying our best to resolve these issues

This is built entirely from source so its not a port, which in my opinion makes it a little more stable as its been made specifically for this device...

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please note that the Paranoid team have kindly requested that I don't include ParanoidPreferences.apk in the build (which is entirely understandable given the amount of time and effort they put into making it). If you want it in the build, I can't stop you putting it in yourself, so download the PA rom and get it... don't forget to thank them though...

I won't write long and fancy descriptions... I am planning to keep both kernel and the OP as clean as possible.

This kernel is for Xperia-T only and supports only Sony ICS ROMs for now.

FEATURES:
  • Autoroot
  • Some optimizations by cherrypicking from others & upstream
  • Some change-this-and-that kind of optimizations on governors
  • Some additional I/O Schedulers (sio, v/r)
  • Undervolting support
  • Overclocking support (192-1890MHz) with some modifications on thermal throttling to prevent overclocked values to be used during boot.
  • Custom CWM-based recovery with touch gestures (thanks to sk8erwitskil for the gesture support)
  • STweaks support (included in the kernel or from Google Play). it is an opensource app which generates dynamic UIs based on /res/uci.sh script interface and lets your set some kernel parameters easily. It will be auto-installed.
  • Fast-dormancy is disabled as default. You can enable it using STweaks.
KNOWN ISSUES:
  • Some STweaks settings are not effective
  • kernel needs some time to apply settings and you may feel some lag for the first 2-3 minutes. this will be fixed soon.
  • backup/restore feature in CWM-based custom recovery may have some bugs (not tested fully). do not trust on CWM backup/restore until I remove this item.

[CWM] Xperia T CWM by Groschovskiy Logic [Update 29.11]

This is for:
•Rooted phones
•Stock Firmware Android 7.0.A.1.303
•Locked bootloader

What is working:
•Backup
•Restore
•External SD
•Flash zip files
•Mount/Unmount partitions
•And so on, so apparently all (further testing and feedback will be appreciated)

Instructions:
•Download CWM from here and unzip
•Enable USB debugging and connect phone to your computer
•Run install.bat

Entering CWM:
•Disconnect usb cable and power off the phone
•Power on the phone
•When SONY logo appears, press repeatedly (not holding) volume-down until the phone vibrates
•Wait a few secods and you will be on CWM

Navigating CWM:
•Volume+ for up
•Volume- for down
•Power button for enter/ok

Unable to enter recovery?
Make sure you have granted superuser permissions to adb shell. Sometimes this occurs when running install.bat for the first time, sometimes not. Best way is open a windows command prompt, enter "adb shell" and then enter "su". Now SuperSU will ask you for grant permissions, accept and retry running install.bat.

Xperia V - Stock Kernel Unsecure+Debuggable 9.0.D.0.484

Hi,

Just got my Xperia V (LT25i) yesterday.

Here is Stock Kernel from firmware 9.0.D.0.484
It has set ro.secure=0 and ro.debuggable=1
Nothing else is touched.

How to use this ??
Just unlock your bootloader from http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com and flash the kernel using

fastboot flash boot lt25i-unsecure-debuggable.elf
Instructions : -

for windows Users, just install latest flashtool and go to x10_flasher_lib folder, shift+rightclick and open command window here and enter the above code ^^
Linux users will need SDK installed with sdk in path and android-rules set in udev. :)

Thanks to my kernel kitchen that allows fast editing of ramdisk in elf :p

I have a LT25i that is International LTE version, with firmware 9.0.D.0.484.

The philosophy of this work is based on the stock firmware, eliminate most of frills and bloatware, and inject minor adjustments to improve operability, without compromising neutrality, fluency or stability.

MAIN FEATURES

- Based on the latest Sony stock firmware.
- Removed some applications, themes, customizations, services... Bloatware.
- Lite ROM, only 265 MB.
- Very clean after installation: more resources and RAM availables.
- 14 Toggles statusbar integrated (based on great work of Peetr_ and gregbradley)
- Volume keys screen wakeup.
- More steps available in volume levels.
- Ads-filter to avoid some advertising, and save data traffic.
- Complete list of APNs already integrated.
- Small tweaks and improvements added.

INSTALLATION FOR UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS
 

- Download ROM and copy to internal/SD memory.
- Install Advanced Stock Kernel V4, gregkernel V2 or SiyahKernel V0.02.
- Reboot in Recovery and make a CWM FULL backup first.
- Make wipe data / factory reset, and also wipe dalvik cache (advanced ---> Wipe Dalvik Cache).
- Install ROM.
- Wait for the completion of the installation and restart when prompted.
- After entering PIN, wait a couple of minutes.
- Recommended restart again before start working.


INSTALLATION FOR LOCKED BOOTLOADERS

- Use flashtool to flash any generic 7.0.A.1.303 ftf.
- Root using Bin4ry's method.
- Install CMW for locked bootloaders.
- Enter recovery, factory reset and flash the ROM. Then flash now the flashable version of CMW recovery for locked bootloaders before you reboot.
- Flash Stock kernel 7.0.A.3.195 in flashtool to update your kernel and prevent bootloops.

[STOCK][7.0.A.3.195][T]Rooted & Deodexed[03/12/12]

This is just a simple ROM I built with dsixda's Android Kitchen. Saw some people requesting a clean, rooted, stock ROM so I started a poll to gauge interest and it was enough for me have a crack at it. It's not really development but I figured this was the best place to drop it.
It's based on the LT30p Stock UK GENERIC 4.04 7.0.A.3.195 posted by batman_112. I only rooted and deodexed it.

All the usual blah blah about bricking your device applies. It works fine on my phone so it should work on yours.

Basic flashing instructions
Locked bootlader
1. Flash stock .303 FTF from the All-in-One thread with flashtool
2. Root with Bin4ry's method
3. install CWM for locked bootloaders.
4. Go to recovery and wipe
5. Flash ROM.
6. Flash CWM & Reboot fix
7. Enjoy

Unlocked bootlader
Assuming you're already on a custom rooted kernel
Go to recovery, wipe & flash

Features
* STOCK
* ROOT (ChainsDD Superuser 3.1.3 & BusyBox 1.20.2)

Introducing:
TiMiN8R's XperimenT

This is a ROM I built with dsixda's Android Kitchen for myself. Having tried several ROM's and MOD's I decided to just cook my own ROM with the mods and tweaks I like best. I figured others might like it too so here it is. It's geared towards my brothers and sisters with locked bootloaders: CWM for locked bootloaders and rebootfix are already built in, so no need to flash them afterwards (and can't forget, which has happened to me on more than one occasion :silly: )
It's based on the LT30p Stock UK GENERIC 4.04 7.0.A.3.195 posted by batman_112 which I previously rooted & deodexed.

Features
  • ROOT (ChainsDD Superuser 3.1.3 & BusyBox 1.20.2)
  • DEODEXED (except for playstationcertified.odex, kitchen couldn't do it)
  • Bloatware removed (Sony Select, enchanted whatever, etc.)
  • Some stock annoyances removed (e.g. unplug charger reminder, anonymous usage stats)
  • Couple of apps I don't consider bloatware but don't use that others might moved to /data/app for easy removal (e.g. Facebook, Google+)
  • Updated a few apps (e.g. Play Store, Gmail)
  • James Bond Skyfall theme
  • build.prop tweaks
  • Stock launcher replaced with Modified Xperia Launcher by ra3al
  • 14 status bar toggles, port by peetr_ with eryen's white icons with blue indicator
  • Reduced size onscreen buttons (36x24) by recoba23
  • init.d support based on the works of DooMLorD and Ryuinferno
  • Mobile Bravia Engine 2, courtesy of Till-Kruspe
  • CWM for locked bootloaders and Rebootfix integrated , credits to Sharaz22
  • Full list of APN's included from CyanogenMod's github, so no need to download or enter manually

Basic flashing instructions

1. Flash stock .303 FTF from the All-in-One thread with flashtool(*)
2. Root with Bin4ry's method(*)
3. install CWM for locked bootloaders.(*)
4. Go to recovery and wipe
5. Flash ROM.
6. Flash .195 stock kernel with flashtool(*)
7. Enjoy

(*) skip these steps if you're already on a custom .195 with CWM recovery or unlocked bootlader.

All the usual blah blah about bricking your device applies. It works fine on my phone so it should work on yours.

This is for TX ONLY LT29i UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER ONLY

Here is firmware 70A3197 with Gregs kernel together so you don't need to flash the rom and than flash the kernel.

*Instructions: Unlock bootloader, copy .zip to sdcard, flash, reboot

This rom includes:
Deodexed
Rooted and CWM ready
buildprop tweaks
240 Dpi

Issues:
Dialer doesn't fit it needs to be resized and I do not know how to do this/ So for now please download a dialer from the market until myself or another member can make a proper 240 dpi Sony stock dialer.

[MOD] Navigation bar toggle on/off with focus key

As title says, this is on/off toggle for navigation bar that I made.

It is made from my port of lidroid notification power widget.

Init.d support of the rom is needed, to make it running automatically.
Busybox is needed (it is in the installation package).
Deodexed rom is needed or remove SystemUI.odex before installation.
Installation from recovery.

It is a little dirty hack, I know it! But works and I haven´t found any negative impacts for now.
Anyone who wants and has better solution for the script (while, for, case, etc.) is welcome to rework it.
Or better, some app with service for this could be made.


Info:
It is based on changing added property (nav.keys.off) in SystemUI (PhoneStatusBar.smali) by script (navbar.sh) that is permanently waiting for events from focus key (input even1). Once needed count of presses is aquired, property is changed and SystemUI restarted.
But this has one condition. Camera must not be running. Sony camera has a bug that causes that SystemUI cannot be restarted and force closes, even if it´s in normal state and in camera the focus key is the focus key. If you want to toggle the navigation bar after using camera, you must remove it from recents or running apps.
Framework is not ready to be without navigation bar, so expanded notification and maybe something else is not going to be full screen (maybe in the future)


Instructions:
After installation and booting, you can toggle the navigation bar with about +- 10 presses of focus key.
You can toggle it in any app except Sony camera (it is disabled there).
If you start the camera without navigation bar, +- 10 presses of focus key kills the camera and restarts SystemUI with navigation bar turned on.
If you cannot toggle navigation bar, camera is probably running in background - kill it from recents or running apps.
I am using different values for lowmemorykiller module, so I am not sure, if this script will stay persistent on your system, but I hope so. If not, just do restart.

[ROM]HackitZ-XperiA 1.2a Stable for LT30a (for locked bootloaders)

This Rom is based on Rogers.ftf 7.0.A.3.195

I would first like to say I'm no dev, I just used dsixda's kitchen to put this all together. So my first Thanks goes to dsixda for such an awesome tool!

  • I made this rom for all LT30a user's, LTE apn,s for rogers are included.
  • Rom is and will be optomized for users in canada that have a locked bootloader.
  • All Rogers apps removed :D, if you like the rogers app's you can download them from the market.
  • De-odex
  • Rooted with Chainfire's SuperSu
  • Busy box installed
  • Removed some Sony bloatware.
  • Added some tweaks to the build prop in version 1.2 (testing now). Upload is ready if you're brave enough to try (removed google play would only force close).

1. flash O2 generic 303 firmware, make sure you check off baseband in flashtool (we don't wat to flash the baseband). power on phone and select usb debugging.
2. Install Root thanks to Bin4ry for this.
3. Install CWM thanks to Sharaz22, make sure you download both CWM installers. one for flashtool and the flashable zip.
4. move rom and CWM flashable zip to Sd Card.
5. Boot to CWM and wipe phone, then flash rom.
6. When rom finishes DO NOT Restart Phone, I repeat Do Not Restart Phone, this is where you will flash CWM again :) but use the flash-able version you downloaded earlier.
FYI, if you are coming form LT30a device no need to worry about Kernel.

I love feedback and will do my best to answer and keep an eye on the thread. as I'm new to building rom's I have a lot to learn. So with that being said if and when i upload a rom and it has warning in the change log, this just means it might not be stable and could cause you to have to reinstall a rom. I will do my best to ensure that does not happen by testing my self, but it's always a possibility.

if you are unsure on how to flash a rom, root a phone, answer a text or use an android phone you may want to do a little reading before you begin..
If by chance you mess up or I upload a rom that messes up your phone you ultimately are on your own and take full responsibility for anything that happens to your phone.

[RECOVERY] TWRP Kernel for CM10/AOKP by KXP

This is a kernel with TWRP Touch recovery.

It is compiled from today's (1st Jan 2013) latest KXP/FXP kernel source ;) I will not be keeping it updated and I am not going to fix any minor issues if found. This was just a one-off venture.

NOTE(for advanced users) :
To use TWRP with any future KXP/FXP kernels, you can decompile the boot.img and use the /sbin/ramdisk-recovery.cpio from this ramdisk in the new ramdisk to replace CWM with TWRP. :)

[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.3.3.0 touch recovery [2012-01-24]

Team Win has worked with the CM device maintainers to include a new open source tool called extract_elf_ramdisk in the Xperia T CM10 and CM10.1 build trees. This tool allows you to flash a custom recovery to the FOTAKernel partition. During boot, the device will extract any ramdisk that it finds in FOTAKernel, check to ensure that it's not the stock Sony FOTAKernel, and then use that ramdisk instead of the recovery ramdisk that's included in the boot image. This setup lets you, the user, decide what recovery you would like to run. Only recent CM10 and CM10.1 builds will support this extract_elf_ramdisk setup. Our hope is that other ROM and kernel developers will include this same extract_elf_ramdisk utility in their boot images/elfs so that all unlocked devices will be able to choose what recovery they wish to run.

In addition to being included with CM, I am also supplying a Sony stock-based kernel.elf with this same setup. Download links and instructions for installing that file are available on our website.

The GooManager automatic install will install TWRP to the FOTAKernel partition so that compatible boot images like the stock Sony one that we are providing as well as CM10 and CM10.1 nightlies will be able to use TWRP from the FOTAKernel partition.

Team Win Recovery Project 2.3, or twrp2 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. It’s a fully touch driven user interface – no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

[ROM][ALPHA] Official Xperia T alpha JB SW from Sony

Hi all devs,
This thread is intended for developers who want to give feedback on the alpha JB ROM.
See full post on Developer World.

Today we are making an early alpha ROM of Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) available for Xperia™ T and the open source archives, as a way for us to get valuable feedback from the custom ROM community. Thanks to the great dialogue we have with open community developers, we see this as a valuable tool for us to get more input, and for the open developer community to get to try this alpha out hands-on. The ROM does not have the final UI upgrades that will be in the official release.

Please note that this ROM is strictly targeting advanced developers, and it will not work for ordinary everyday usage, as it only has a limited set of features working (you can for example not make any phone calls). Several more legal and usage conditions apply – please see the Important information section in the post for more details.

Important information
Since this is far from the final software upgrade roll out, there are a few requirements to pay close attention to before you download and install the ROM:
• You should be an advanced developer with extensive knowledge in how to install and switch between different ROMs. If you are a consumer without these developer skills, then we strongly recommend you not do try this as you may damage your phone.
• You must be using an unlocked Xperia™ T. It will not work on a locked Xperia™ T.
• You must unlock your phone using Sony’s Unlock boot loader service, and agree to all the legal and warranty conditions that apply. Please note that you may void the warranty of your phone and/or any warranty from your operator if you unlock the boot loader of your phone. Sony can then no longer guarantee the full functionality of your phone, and will not be responsible for any unusable functions or loss of personal data associated to the alpha ROM being flashed to the phone.
• Also, if you unlock the boot loader, you will not be able to download and install the final Jelly Bean upgrade from Sony. For additional information about limitations and warranty restrictions, please see Sony's Unlock boot loader service.
• You should have read through and acknowledged the limitations of the software described below.

Only a limited number of features and functionalities are working and turned on in this alpha ROM.

These are some of the features that are turned off or not yet working in this alpha ROM:
• Google Mobile Services (GMS) apps are not included (for example, Gmail, Google Maps, etc.).
• Modem is turned off and the SIM card will therefore not be recognised (this also means you can’t make any phone calls).
• Bluetooth™ is turned off.
• Wi-Fi® is turned off.
• FM-radio is turned off.
• NFC is turned off.

How to install the Jelly Bean alpha ROM
To install the alpha ROM on Xperia™ T please connect your Xperia™ T to our Sony flash tool for unlocked devices and install the Jelly Bean alpha ROM. Check out the Sony flash tool page for more information on how to download, install and use this tool.

The Jelly Bean alpha ROM will be a clean flash, so make sure you do a proper back up of everything on your phone before you flash it. Please note that there is another software version available for Xperia™ T smartphones in the Sony flash tool for unlocked devices, as it is possible to flash Xperia™ T with an official Ice Cream Sandwich software versions well.

so guys here are a few patches to get things working on this build... unfortunately i am not at my dev machine and have a pathetically slow internet connection... so cant upload the whole package...

few things that you should download before u begin...
  1. any kernel with recovery... u can use the FXP202 CM10 kernel: http://d-h.st/9Pr
    (thanks to FreeXperia Team for their work on the kernel)

  2. Google Apps - http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip

  3. PATCH-v1 zip to get root, sound, BT, baseband,to work, correct fingerprint to work on Google Play : http://d-h.st/rNe
    (this contains the stock JB-alpha kernel along with some fixes and will wipe /data and /cache partitions)
    [you might need to install busybox from market]




What you get using this:
